- Weed Science Society of America : Promotes research, education, and outreach related to noxious weeds.
- USDA APHIS: Animal & Plant Health Inspection Service: Provides technical & scientific support to States on invasive species, pests, & crop diseases; provides regulations to protect agriculture from pests; APHIS scientists conduct research on invasive species; establishes quarantines to protect agriculture; monitoring and mapping systems.
- Regional IPM Centers: Provides technical and educational support to States and other agencies, to implement Integrated Pest Management strategies; provides grants for research; supports collaborations across regions of the USA.
- invasive.org: Center for Invasive Species & Ecosystem Health: education and research, hosted by the University of Georgia. Website includes photos and descriptions of many species; distribution maps using EDDmapS. Provides educational materials on methods of managing invasive species, with information on biological controls, chemicals, and mechanical methods of controlling invasive species. The website also includes many native plants.
- North American Invasive Species Network: Collaborative organization that coordinates research on invasive species among various agencies & organizations. This website interfaces with invasive.org.
- Bureau of Land Management: Federal Agency that provides technical support to landowners on land management
- National Seed Strategy: “a public-private collaboration to increase the supply of native seeds for restoration projects to ensure ecosystem resilience and the health and prosperity of future generations.” This website provides links to various reports on the availability of native seed.
